The Haven Night Shelter

In 1994 the Haven Kalk Bay was opened after numerous discussions with the relevant parties and having overcome various obstacles with opposing ratepayers.

Following in-depth negotiating and subsequently joining the Steering Committee on vagrancy in Cape Town, this committee paved a way for service delivery to the homeless & destitute of Kalk Bay. In addition this shelter provides food aid to 2000 poor people in the greater Kalk Bay area.
