Kalk Bay and St James Neighbourhood Watch

KALK BAY & ST JAMES CRIMEWATCH aims to catalogue reported crime activities in the area to empower residents through information.  It's logical - the more you know the better you can prevent and help reduce the attractiveness of the area to criminals.

The KALK BAY & ST JAMES CRIMEWATCH reporting and information distribution structure is very simple.

• To report an incident send an e-mail to crimewatch@kalkbay.info with the details of the incident.  If you do not have e-mail you can report an incident by dropping a note with the details into my post box; Gatesville Guesthouse 17 Gatesville Road Kalk Bay. 
• You can also add yourself automatically by sending an email to crimewatch@kalkbay.info with the word "subscribe" in the subject heading.  You can remove yourself by sending an email to crimewatch@kalbay.info with "unsubscribe" in the subject heading.  To prevent spam you will be asked to confirm your subscription with an opt in email confirmation sent to you.
• Information provided will be distributed in good faith.  Information will be distributed in good faith on an e&oe basis
• Should any contributor wish to remain anonymous that will be respected but this should be very clearly indicated
• Information will not be used sold or shared for commercial purposes
• Those subscribing to the information should not forward the information to the media or any other person or organisation.
• Reports should in no way be regarded as replacing the need to report incidents to the South African Police Services who encourage all incidents to be reported.
• Please encourage as many local residents and property owners to join.
